Job summary

Selectek seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team, focusing on power system studies, arc flash analyses, and documentation to meet safety and code requirements. The engineer will build models using SKM Power Tools or ETAP and collaborate with field teams, project managers, and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 1+ years of relevant experience with SKM or ETAP, and is capable of communicating study results clearly and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 1+ year of experience performing power system studies and arc flash analysis.
• Proficiency with SKM Power Tools and/or ETAP required.

Responsibilities

• Perform short circuit analysis and protective device coordination.
• Conduct load flow and voltage drop studies.
• Execute arc flash hazard analyses and develop compliant labels and reports.
• Build and maintain one-line diagrams and system models in SKM/ETAP or similar tools.
• Review drawings, equipment data, and protection schemes for accuracy and constructability.
• Support estimating, design-build, and construction teams with engineering input.
• Assist with field data collection, site assessments, and validation of installed equipment.
• Communicate study results and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
• Support system commissioning and risk mitigation efforts as needed.
• Stay updated with electrical codes and safety standards.
