Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to validate and manage interfaces across power generation equipment and EPC/BOP projects, ensuring early risk mitigation and quality. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary reviews and drive automation of checks using tools like AutoCAD, EPLAN, and AVEVA.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in power generation/plant engineering, with strong drawing interpretation skills and EPC background.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Controls.
• 10–15 years in power generation, plant and project engineering.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and resolve interface issues.
• Aeroderivative packaging and EPC background desired.
• Knowledge of package interfaces and Instrumentation & Controls.
• Tools: AutoCAD, Excel, EPLAN, AVEVA.

Responsibilities

• Validate and manage power generation equipment interfaces.
• Identify interface gaps between OEM, EPC, and BOP equipment.
• Manage cross-business engineering information and ownership issues.
• Support project engineering discussions to mitigate risks early.
• Automate discrepancy and quality checks and standardize reporting.
• Perform cable sizing and voltage drop calculations.
• Conduct cross-discipline engineering reviews.
• Manage interfaces effectively to improve project quality, execution speed, and risks.
