Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with electrical power distribution equipment including switchboards and panelboards.
• Knowledge of UL891, UL508A, UL67 and NEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering input for UL891 switchboards, UL67 panelboards and UL508A control panels.
• Apply UL and NEC requirements throughout the design lifecycle.
• Guide busbar sizing, routing, insulation and material selection.
• Review power schematics and protective device ratings.
• Support selection of circuit breakers, fuses, transformers, and other power components.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to integrate control circuits.
