Job summary

Amentum seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical Engineering team supporting the Center Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering Contract (CMOE) at NASA Langley Research Center. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Project Manager and requires US citizenship.

Responsibilities include power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communication system design; computations and reports; experience with ETAP, AutoCAD/REVIT, and Allen Bradley PLC or LabVIEW is preferred.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.
Electrical Engineer degree from an accredited school with 3–5 years related experience, or MS with 2–3 years, or PhD with relevant experience.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Performs specific and limited engineering tasks under supervision.
Prepare computations, specifications, and reports of limited scope.
Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
Conduct analyses and engineering studies; support cost estimates and construction management.
Coordinate with interfaces and manage allocated resources.
