Job summary
Amentum seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the CMoe team at NASA Langley Research Center, supporting center maintenance, operations and engineering efforts. You will design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communication systems, with exposure to substation relaying, controls, instrumentation and cost estimates.

- US Citizenship is required and an electrical engineering degree with related experience is required.
- Three to five years of related engineering experience or MS with two to three years; PhD with related experience acceptable.
- Valid driver’s license required and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Performs limited engineering tasks under supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Prepare computations, specifications, and reports of limited scope.
- Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and communication systems; evaluate controls and instrumentation.
- Develop engineering analyses, studies, and construction cost estimates; troubleshoot construction.
- Independently resolve technical questions using advanced methods and modify standard practices.
- Coordinate interfaces and manage resources on large or complex projects.
