Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. (WJE) is seeking an Associate Principal or Principal Electrical Engineer to be an integral part of expanding our electrical engineering practice, based in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. At WJE, we strive to provide innovative, high-quality, and practical solutions for our clients on a wide range of electrical control and power applications, including electrical utility engineering, rail transit, heavy movable structures, and industrial electrical infrastructure. Project scopes range from new design and system specification to in-situ evaluation and problem-solving to forensic investigation and litigation support. Requirements may include: travel to various offices, field, and construction sites; ability to safely use and operate ladders, scaffolds, lifts, or other equipment to access control rooms and electrical systems; ability to lift and carry materials and tools for field mobilization; ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in hazardous locations, including outdoors with temperature extremes; medical fitness to utilize respiratory protection devices and other PPE; ability to drive and safely operate a motor vehicle; and authorization to work and travel throughout the United States without restrictions.

We offer a robust total rewards package including base salary, incentive pay, and comprehensive benefits. Base salary is determined by qualifications, skills, and proficiency for the role, with consideration for internal equity; employees may receive variable compensation based on personal and company performance. A sample starting base salary range is $132,380.00 – $220,630.00.
