Job summary

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Aiken PSR/LTR Plant. You will design, install and continuously improve electrical systems to maximize safety, quality and efficiency; lead projects and coordinate with vendors and contractors.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of hands-on PLC programming, plus familiarity with Allen-Bradley systems and SAP for procurement. Hybrid collaboration across teams is common.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of electrical engineering experience with hands-on PLC programming.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, drives and servos; project management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical expertise for single/multiple plant areas and lead improvement projects.
• Manage major projects from $50K to $1M; coordinate with internal and external resources.
• Ensure safety, quality, on-time delivery and regulatory compliance; support commissioning.
