Job summary
DSJ Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support reliability and performance of plant power systems in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The role focuses on electrical distribution infrastructure, equipment reliability initiatives, and capital project support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5+ years of related experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with transformers, switchgear, MCCs,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Experience supporting plant power systems and electrical distribution equipment.
- Knowledge of transformers, switchgear, MCCs and VFDs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Chemical, petrochemical or process manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities
- Support plant power distribution systems, including substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and VFDs.
- Lead electrical troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Support capital projects from design through implementation.
- Develop and maintain electrical documentation and system standards.
- Ensure compliance with plant electrical safety programs and industry standards.
