A leading MEP consulting firm in the Greater Houston area is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer-PE to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of design/build experience in the MEP industry, along with a strong background in consulting engineering and power system design. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and be registered as a PE in Texas, or an EIT working towards PE licensure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/build experience in the MEP industry.
• Experience with consulting engineering—power and lighting design and medium voltage distribution.
• Short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash studies (SKM/ETAP) preferred.
• Drafting software such as Revit or AutoCAD preferred.
• Master planning and healthcare project experience a plus.
• TX PE registration or EIT with ability to obtain PE within 1 year required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.

An established MEP Consulting and Engineering firm currently has a position available in the Greater Houston area for an Electrical Engineer-PE. Qualifications

• Experience with consulting engineering—including the design of power and lighting systems, medium voltage (5k and above) distribution, and design—is a MUST.
• Experience with short‑circuit, protective device coordination, and arc‑flash studies using software such as SKM or ETAP is PREFERRED.
• Experience with drafting software such as Revit or AutoCAD is PREFERRED.
• Master planning and healthcare project experience is a huge PLUS.
• Registered PE in the state of TX or EIT with the ability to obtain PE within 1 year is a MUST.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is a MUST.
