Job summary

AllSTEM Connections, in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer - PE for direct hire. A licensed engineer with strong electrical design experience in design firms or design-build environments is preferred.

The role supports complex design efforts for industrial facilities and collaborates with PMs, engineers, designers, estimators, and CAD/BIM teams to deliver high-quality electrical deliverables.

Qualifications

• PE license required
• 5+ years in electrical design
• Experience in design firm or design-build environment

Responsibilities

• Perform and review electrical design tasks throughout the full design phase while following QA/QC processes.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure design documents align with project scope, technical requirements, schedules, and client expectations.
• Apply engineering judgment to evaluate, adapt, or modify standard techniques and design criteria.
• Provide technical guidance and serve as a resource for engineers, designers, estimators, CAD/BIM drafters, and project teams.
• Ensure electrical plans and designs comply with California requirements, NEC codes, and project standards.
• Support design coordination across internal departments and foster productive relationships.
