Job summary

Washington Equipment Manufacturing Company, Inc. (WEMCO, Inc.) seeks an Electrical Engineer, PE to join our Vancouver Sales & Service Branch. You will design, modify, and review electrical systems for electromechanical equipment, ensuring performance goals are met.

Work alongside mechanical, structural, and control systems engineers, travel for project assignments, and study industry standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, NCCCO, OSHA, ANSI, ASME, CMAA. PE licensure required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering license in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years in industrial automation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate electromechanical systems applying mechanics, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
• Develop and review control systems based on customer requirements and testing.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design or performance issues and provide technical assistance during assembly.
