Job summary

Entech Engineering, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities, municipal and industrial infrastructure, campuses, buildings, and related facilities.

This role will work closely with licensed electrical engineers and multidisciplinary project teams to prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction-phase documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare electrical designs, drawings, and schematics for water and wastewater facilities and related infrastructure.
• Prepare design documents including power and control plans, wiring diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts.
• Produce electrical and control specifications using master specs and CSI formats.
• Develop MCC elevations and control panel layouts to determine equipment size and space requirements.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop, fault current, and short-circuit analyses.
• Assist with selecting transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, and related components.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate electrical systems into project designs.
• Support construction-phase activities by reviewing submittals and field observations.
