Job summary

KALCON is seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as Owner’s Representative for electrical infrastructure, facility improvement, and sustaining projects within active semiconductor manufacturing environments. You will coordinate with site electrical system owners, project managers, contractors, and operations teams to maintain reliable facility operations while delivering capital improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 3+ years in design or construction of facilities; labs/semiconductor/critical facility experience preferred.
• PE license or EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide projects and sustaining facility electrical engineering support.
• Coordinate with System Owner of site electrical distribution for small to mid-size projects.
• Lead troubleshooting, arc flash studies, and equipment coordination.
• Review electrical design specs, submittals, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions; justify capital budgets.
• Provide technical leadership to IFM and contractors; support cross-site teams.
