Job summary

KALCON in Tualatin, OR is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Owner’s Representative) to support electrical infrastructure, facility improvements, and sustaining projects within active semiconductor environments. You will work with site owners, PMs, contractors, and operations to maintain reliable facilities while delivering capital upgrades.

The role emphasizes coordinating outages, arc flash studies, load data, budgeting, and NEC compliance; providing technical leadership to IFM teams; and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in facilities design or construction.
• PE license or EIT preferred.
• Experience with EasyPower software.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Strong client relations and people management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify issues and respond to project issues.
• Strong written and oral communication with senior management and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for projects and sustainment.
• Work with system owner on small to mid-size projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical system problems; coordinate outages; arc flash studies.
• Deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to IFM and contractors.
• Lead recovery during power outages; participate on cross-site teams.
• Occasional weekend engineering support.
• Review design specs, submittals, drawings; CAD/document control.
