Job summary

Turner Construction Company, Decatur, AL project site, is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design offsite manufactured and modular components. You will develop single line diagrams, specify equipment, size conductors, and ensure compliance while optimizing for transport and installation at the site.

The role requires a ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree, 6+ years of design experience, and PE licensure.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical Engineering with ≥6 years of experience in electrical design or related role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure and active accreditation.
• Strong verbal communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally and client facing.
• Proficient writing and documentation skills; familiar with NEC, NFPA, IBC.
• Proficient in creating and coordinating engineering drawings with Revit/Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for OSM products including single line diagrams and equipment selection.
• Collaborate with Architects, ME, EE, SE to integrate MV/LV systems into designs.
• Create detailed electrical drawings using BIM tools and other design software.
• Coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams to finalize designs and mitigate risks.
