Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design MV/LV electrical systems for offsite manufactured and modular components. You will work with cross‑functional teams to integrate designs into construction documents and optimize for transport, assembly, and installation.

Qualifications include a ABET‑accredited EE degree and PE licensure, strong communication and technical writing, and proficiency with Revit or Inventor. Limited travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required and active.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to present to non-technical audiences.
• Proficient technical writing and documentation skills.
• Familiar with NEC, NFPA, IBC codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for offsite manufacturing and modular components, including single-line diagrams and equipment selections.
• Coordinate with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineers to integrate MV/LV systems.
• Create detailed electrical drawings using BIM tools (Revit, Inventor) and related software.
• Engage in client discussions to present designs and mitigate risks.
• Oversee coordination of vendor drawings and ensure alignment with design requirements.
• Assist project teams with cost estimates, specifications, and proposal evaluations.
