SAIC in Middletown, RI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport. You will help bring electrical designs from concept through fabrication in a collaborative team of engineers.

The local Middletown office supports automated test equipment design, PCB design, cable design, and acoustic system design. The role emphasizes design, documentation, and testing of a complex Automated Test Equipment, with emphasis on hands-on problem solving.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in engineering design, analysis, testing.
• Electronic design for test equipment, power electronics, amplifiers, filtering, signal conditioning, or high-speed digital.
• Schematic entry in a schematic capture software.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with test equipment and problem solving.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute test plans for new designs.
• Design and document systems and circuits in Altium.
• Work across multiple concurrent challenges and learn quickly.
• Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, technicians, and drafters.
• Review specs, BOMs, schematics, and test plans for accuracy.
