Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest in Silverdale, WA. You will deliver electrical design and technical support for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects.

You will design facilities electrical systems, perform lighting calculations, develop layouts, review drawings in AutoCAD, and coordinate with NAVFAC and multidisciplinary teams. A 4-year engineering degree and 6+ years of design experience are required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.
• Experience with electrical distribution and lighting system design.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering design and calculations for facility electrical systems.
• Design electrical services, transformers, secondary power distribution systems, overcurrent protection, branch circuits, feeders, and related systems.
• Perform lighting calculations, develop lighting layouts, and specify lighting fixtures.
• Develop and review drawings using AutoCAD and edit project specifications.
• Review designs, technical reports, RFIs, submittals, and other project deliverables.
• Coordinate with NAVFAC personnel and multidisciplinary design teams.
