Sr Electrical Engineer PE (Mission Critical Healthcare/Pharmaceutical) - 100% Remote

Seeking a seasoned Electrical PE with a minimum of 10 years of experience capable of working independently and thrive in a Fully Remote Setting. Must have Strong Conceptual Design Experience in REVIT for Engineering Consulting Firms specializing in Life-Science Projects: Hospitals, Laboratories, Pharmaceutical, FDA Regulated Sterile Environments, cGMP, Clean-Rooms, etc. PE License Required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program.
• 10+ years of experience delivering Projects for Healthcare, Cleanrooms, Laboratories, FDA-Regulated Environments, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facilities, and cGMP Facilities.
• Must have Conceptual Design experience for Engineering Consulting Firms
• REVIT Software Required
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices relevant to mission critical and healthcare environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, emergency and standby power (UPS, generators), lighting, fire alarm, and telecom systems for mission critical healthcare and pharmaceutical facilities.
• Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and develop protective device coordination using tools such as SKM or ETAP.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and relevant healthcare regulations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and construction managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Participate in client meetings, site surveys, and construction administration activities to ensure project requirements are met.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the electrical engineering team.
