Kimley-Horn's Columbia, South Carolina office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their MEP team. This is not a remote position and requires on-site collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role involves leading electrical design and analysis, developing design documents, cost estimates, and reports. Candidates will mentor junior staff and coordinate with fire alarm, lighting, and other design disciplines.

Competenze

• Minimum 4 years of electrical engineering experience.
• PE license or eligibility within 12 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiar with NEC/NESC, IEEE and ANSI standards.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and mentor junior staff.
• Preferred experience includes PV, MEP/HVAC, wind, energy storage, data centers, or substations.
• Experience in power system design and project management.
• Proficiency in Revit and power system analysis tools.

Mansioni

• Lead design and analysis of electrical systems for MEP projects.
• Develop design documents, layouts, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
