Kimley-Horn's Westlake, Texas office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their MEP team. This is not a remote position.

The role includes leading the design and analysis of electrical systems, developing design documents, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across Kimley-Horn offices on large-scale projects. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to proposals and power analyses.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of NEC, NESC, IEEE and ANSI standards.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and analysis of complex electrical systems for MEP projects.
• Develop design documents, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across Kimley-Horn offices.
• Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and client proposals.
• Mentor and grow the MEP team.
• Coordinate with fire alarm, technology, and lighting designers as required.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers for equipment power needs.
