Job summary

The Korte Company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our design team. This role supports the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial and government projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MEP building systems in commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Revit, BIM coordination, and BIM workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and coordination of mechanical systems for commercial projects.
• Develop MEP designs for commercial, industrial, healthcare, or government projects.
• Prepare construction documents using Revit, Bluebeam, and other software.
• Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural disciplines.
• Perform engineering calculations and system layouts.
• Support preconstruction with design input and value engineering.
• Respond to RFIs and provide technical support during construction.
• Mentor Mechanical Design Engineers.
