The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, experience in an MEP/AEC setting, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD. This full-time position emphasizes collaboration, technology-driven design, and on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in electrical design within an MEP or AEC consulting environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and applicable building codes.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare engineering calculations including load analysis and electrical system coordination.
• Develop construction documents including plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams for integrated project delivery.
• Support projects from schematic design through construction administration.
• Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and participate in project coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, energy codes, and applicable standards.
• Utilize Revit and BIM/VDC workflows for project coordination and design development.

The Electrical Design Engineer will support the design and coordination of electrical systems for commercial, hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, healthcare, and industrial developments. • EIT preferred
• Experience designing building electrical systems for commercial, hospitality, multifamily, industrial, healthcare, or mixed-use projects preferred
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical design software
• Strong understanding of NEC and applicable building codes
• Familiarity with BIM/VDC coordination workflows preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
