Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company in the United States, is seeking an Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test to join the EW Manufacturing team. You will own and improve production test flow, troubleshoot complex hardware, and drive automation and data analytics to ensure high-throughput, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.
• Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu, LabVIEW, and NixOS.
• Experience with contract manufacturers in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies.
• Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
• Strong root cause analysis skills of non-conforming hardware.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiar with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, MES, and TES
• Experience working on projects that involve integration of electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US DoD clearance

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing.
• Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream from system checks to component-level validation.
• Improve automation, consistency, and test coverage; reduce cycle time.
• Generate test work instructions for technicians and train them as required.
• Develop library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.
• Determine root cause and implement corrective actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Manufacturing to support returns and failure analysis.
• Provide feedback to early-stage test design for NP I products and processes.
• Analyze test data and report results to identify defects and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with design engineers for product enhancements based on test outcomes.
• Optimize test strategies for efficiency and quality, and calibrate test equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and methodologies.
• Execute testing as required.
