Job summary

Inteplast Group seeks an Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical aspects of manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to boost productivity and product quality.

Responsibilities include design and implementation of electrical systems, process optimization, troubleshooting, documentation, and staff training.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment preferred (plastics or paper).
• Strong knowledge of electrical controls, instrumentation, PLCs and HMIs.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for electrical design (AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
• Familiar with NEC, IEC, UL standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems and controls for manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze processes to identify efficiency improvements and perform upgrades.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with maintenance personnel.
• Maintain documentation, generate performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, and production teams.
• Provide training and technical support to staff; support 24-hour operations.
