Job summary

Randstad USA in Corona, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design low and medium voltage products for a growing manufacturing operation. The role requires 3+ years of electrical engineering experience with low/medium voltage and compliance with NEC, NFPA, UL and IEC standards.

This is a permanent, full-time position with bonus eligibility and strong opportunities for advancement. You will develop drawings and BOMs, support drafting, purchasing, and production, and collaborate with quality

Qualifications

Experience with low or medium voltage in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

Evaluate customer specifications and drawings to design compliant low and medium voltage switchgear, switchboards, and control panels.
Create and update electrical drawings, specifications, and detailed BOMs to support drafting, purchasing, and production.
Provide engineering guidance and problem resolution to manufacturing, drafting, purchasing, and quality teams throughout the build process.
Ensure all designs strictly meet NEC, NFPA, ANSI, UL, IEEE, and IEC standards.
Lead design reviews, inspections, factory witness testing, change order evaluations, and root-cause analysis.
