Armstrong World Industries, located at our Ceilings plant in Marietta, PA, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing equipment, maintenance systems, and production processes. The role emphasizes lean initiatives, capital projects, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead significant electrical and PLC-based projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive efficiency while ensuring safety and reliability across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated Project Management skills.
• PLC and HMI programming experience with the Rockwell suite of products.
• Experience with Wonderware application programming and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering and technical assistance to the manufacturing plant for equipment, maintenance, and production processes.
• Manage plant capital projects with emphasis on PLC-based systems.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues impacting reliability and performance.
• Develop concepts and budget estimates for new electrical projects.
• Coordinate vendor bid packages and final vendor selection for parts and services.
• Execute capital projects with cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Educate personnel on electrical engineering topics and train on new equipment.
