Job summary

Armstrong World Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support our Marietta, PA plant, a 24/7 operation manufacturing mineral fiber ceiling tiles.

You will install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems to meet safety, quality and productivity goals. The role demands hands-on expertise with motors, instrumentation, PLCs and process control, plus strict adherence to NEC/NFPA 70E safety standards and a commitment to reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• At least six years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AC/DC, voltages, and PLC systems.
• Experience with NEC/NFPA 70E safety codes.
• Proficient with precision test instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose electrical problems and take corrective action.
• Maintain plant instrumentation and calibration.
• Lead small projects as directed.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
