Job summary

Classic Engineering, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to lead and grow our electrical team. A licensed PE in Michigan or the ability to obtain licensure is required, with willingness for multi-state licensure.

You will manage projects from concept through construction and mentor staff while strengthening client relationships, and contribute to business development. Responsibilities include leading projects, reviewing drawings, developing specs, handling RFIs, and ensuring

Qualifications

• PE license in Michigan or ability to obtain it.
• Multi-state licensure possible as needed.
• Experience leading electrical design for building systems.
• Mentor staff and manage projects from concept to construction.
• Strong client service orientation and business development interest.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Prepare and review electrical construction drawings and documentation.
• Develop and edit technical project specifications.
• Review product submittals and shop drawings for design intent.
• Respond to RFIs and conduct construction site visits.
• Manage and mentor electrical designers, engineers, and drafting staff.
• Provide guidance, quality control, and technical oversight across projects.
