Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Full-Time position in Houston, TX. You will develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control schemes and contribute to process modeling for predictive control systems.

The role spans Instrument & Electrical Engineering, High Voltage, and Corporate Electrical Engineering, with responsibilities to lead projects, ensure timelines and budgets, and collaborate across global manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced control schemes.
• Create and refine process models for predictive control systems.
• Engineer and improve process measurement instrumentation and control systems.
• Provide daily technical support for I&E or control systems.
• Lead large-scale electrical projects and represent the company externally.
• Manage all project aspects, from concept through construction.
