Job summary

LyondellBasell's Louisiana Integrated Polyethylene JV in Westlake, LA seeks an Electrical Specialist to provide field technical support to maintenance technicians and lead large energy isolation procedures.

You will troubleshoot complex electrical control strategies, coordinate with crafts and contractors, support operations, engineers, HSE, and project teams to enhance reliability and safety across the site's electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of recognized programs such as NETA Electrical Level 2, NCCER, or an Associates Degree in Electrical.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of Relay Protection Scheme/Electrical Testing/Troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute large energy isolation procedures.
• Coordinate with craft and specialty contractors for electrical testing and inspection.
• Support in-house electrical maintenance with advanced troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to Operations, Electrical Engineers, Maintenance, HSE, Capital Projects and Turnaround.
• Develop scope with Turnaround and Capital Project teams and participate in detailed design, testing and execution phases.
