Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Moorestown, NJ to support MK41 Vertical Launching System designs and related launcher programs. You will design electrical subsystems, select COTS components, and specify chassis enclosures, collaborating with senior staff to meet customer needs.

The role requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, DoD security clearance at the Secret level, and experience with wiring harnesses, BOMs, and test procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of professional experience.
• Familiarity with Electrical Military Specifications.
• Ability to create Electrical Parts Lists and Bills of Materials.
• Ability to research and select Electrical components.
• Familiarity with design of wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
• CCA/PWB design familiarity.
• Working proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.

Responsibilities

• Support the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and new designs of launcher and weapon systems across platforms.
• Apply electrical engineering and electronics skills and knowledge of related disciplines.
• Coordinate with senior internal or external personnel on significant technical matters.
• Conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, sub-systems and systems.
• Develop technical documentation such as design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings, BOMs, test procedures and reports.
