Job summary

Google is seeking an Electrical Engineer for Laptops and Tablets Platform Enablement Hardware in San Jose, CA. • Work with external partners to streamline development pipelines and ensure hardware performance.

• Execute functional validation planning and participate in hardware design reviews for key sub-modules and interfaces to ensure specification compliance.
• Perform platform bring-up, hardware validation, and system performance characterization across parallel platform roadmaps.
• Conduct laboratory debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis to resolve hardware issues and unblock development activities.
• Collaborate with external partners and partner-facing teams to streamline development pipelines and ensure hardware performance.
• Provide documentation of the hardware design, its implementation, or test/validation results throughout the product life cycle.
