Electrical Engineer Your main responsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities:
Electrical Engineer with Schindler Elevator Corporation at its Holland, Ohio office.
Design, modify and/or apply components and systems using engineering methods and techniques to meet specified technical objectives.
Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:
20% Analyze and solve technical issues and problems.
30% Troubleshoot electrical issues with elevators, escalators and moving walkways, both remotely and on-site.
15% Customize existing software and hardware to meet specific building needs.
10% Provide solutions to assigned safety, performance, cost, reliability and maintenance problems.
10% Provide effective task management to meet project timelines and technical objectives.
15% Interface with multi-disciplinary and multi-functional teams.
Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or other closely related engineering field of study; plus 12 months of experience in the offered position or other closely related positions. Experiences may be concurrent.
