Job summary
Project Support Services Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the BuildLACCD Sustainability Strike Team in California.
The candidate will provide specialized engineering expertise in electrical infrastructure, energy systems, and capital improvements across the LA Community College District. Ideal candidates hold a CA-licensed PE in Electrical Engineering with strong design review, construction support, and knowledge of Title 24, NEC, and CALGreen.
Qualifications
- CA PE license required for Electrical Engineering role.
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum seven years of professional electrical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of CA energy codes, Title 24, NEC, CALGreen.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical subject matter expert guiding project managers and TEAM.
- Assess electrical infrastructure for capacity, deficiencies, and performance issues.
- Perform load studies and service capacity evaluations; review reports and scopes.
- Develop and review technical scopes, specs, and procurement input.
- Coordinate with district staff, consultants, and contractors; support field activities.
