Job summary

CMP Services is seeking an Engineer IV – Electrical to support the Los Angeles Community College District BuildLACCD Bond Program. This role is bond-eligible and limited to capital construction, modernization, and sustainability projects, not routine M&O work.

As an electrical SME, you will contribute to planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout of sustainability-oriented capital projects across LACCD, coordinating with District staff, CPTs, PMO, architects,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
CA Professional Engineer license is mandatory.
Minimum seven years of professional electrical engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of California energy codes and electrical standards.

Responsibilities

Provide SME guidance for planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout of bond-eligible projects.
Assess existing electrical infrastructure and develop upgrade strategies.
Develop and review SOWs, technical specifications, and design documents.
Coordinate with district administration, CPTs, PMO, consultants, and utilities.
Ensure compliance with Title 24, NEC, CALGreen, and energy efficiency goals.
