Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Richmond, VA seeks an Electrical Engineer IV to join our design team. You will create basic designs under supervision, develop specifications, narratives, and layouts for diverse projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 7–10 years in a consulting firm, and proficiency with REVIT and AutoCAD MEP. PE registration is preferred; EIT accepted. LEED AP is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 7–10 years of experience in a consulting firm.
• PE registration preferred; E.I.T. accepted in lieu of PE.
• LEED AP highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer/Senior Designer.
• Develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for various projects.
• Establish system application, design, and operational parameters under project leadership.
• Oversee QA/QC processes for your work and others on the team.
• Assist in determining project schedules, manpower, and budgets; perform field inspections and related reports.
