Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - IV to join our team. In this design role, you will develop electrical system designs, create specifications, and coordinate layouts for diverse projects with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited Institution.
• 7+ years of experience working in a consulting firm.
• Current PE registration preferred; EIT/FE required.
• LEED AP highly preferred.
• REVIT and AutoCAD MEP experience.
• Proficient in design and calculation software.

Responsibilities

• Create basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer and/or Senior Designer.
• Develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for various projects.
• Establish design and operational parameters under supervision.
• QA/QC the work of self and others.
• Assist in scheduling, manpower planning, and project budgets.
• Perform construction administration and field inspections.
• Process RFIs, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda.
