Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group is seeking a Senior - Supervising Electrical Engineer to join our Washington DC team. The role requires 8+ years in consulting, PE licensure, and expertise in Revit/AutoCAD MEP, code compliance, and SKM coordination. You will lead design, proposals, and QA/QC while managing staff and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical discipline (required).
• Minimum of 8+ to 14+ years experience in a consulting firm.
• REVIT and AutoCAD MEP experience.
• Thorough understanding of applicable codes.
• Knowledge of SKM software and Short Circuit coordination / Arc Flash studies.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Syska Hennessy Group with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams.
• Lead CAD/BIM coordination and supervise staff as directed.
• Estimate construction costs and evaluate feasibility using ROM.
• Prepare engineering proposals under supervision.
• Take responsible charge for project economics and performance.
• Contribute to business development and QA/QC processes.
• Provide engineering calculations, system design, layouts, and field investigations.
