Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers is offering an Electrical Engineer Intern position for Summer 2027. As part of the CI Ops Engineering Team, you will support individual and cross-functional projects, learn capital engineering processes, and contribute to project milestones under the guidance of team leaders.

This on-site internship emphasizes hands-on design collaboration, LEAN principles, and development of skills in CAD tools, data analysis, and communication with stakeholders at our Lancaster county

Qualifications

Fenner Precision Polymershas an exciting internship opportunity in theCI Ops Engineering Team.Assignments may extend to any of our Lancaster county plant locations.

As part of the CI Ops Engineering Team, you will:

• Understand the requirements of executing Capital Engineering projects.
• Assisting with the execution of key project milestones and deliverables.
• Utilization of our project governance model and the importance of project tracking and communication of the status with key stakeholders.

Develop proficiency in emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to support project work, data analysis, content creation, and operational efficiency under the guidance of team leaders

• Participate in design collaboration and machine development with Fenner and its partners.
• Develop an understanding of Continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing principles.

Core Competencies Required

• Team work, good communication skills, responsible, eager to learn, strong work ethic.
• Ability to use auto cad and or solid works
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
• Studies that align with either Mechanical, Industrial or Controls Engineering programs.

Education and/or Relative Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of college or technical school in a related field.
• Exposure to Manufacturing either through past full or part time employment or as part of the program they are enrolled in is a plus.
