Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers is offering an Electrical Engineer Intern position for Summer 2027. As part of the CI Ops Engineering Team, you will support individual and cross-functional projects, learn capital engineering processes, and contribute to project milestones under the guidance of team leaders.

This on-site internship emphasizes hands-on design collaboration, LEAN principles, and development of skills in CAD tools, data analysis, and communication with stakeholders at our Lancaster county

Qualifications

Core competencies: teamwork, good communication, responsibility, eagerness to learn, strong work ethic.
Ability to use AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products.
Studies align with Mechanical, Industrial or Controls Engineering.

Responsibilities

Work on individual and cross-functional projects throughout the internship.
Assist with execution of key project milestones and deliverables.
Develop proficiency in emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to support project work and data analysis.
Participate in design collaboration and machine development with Fenner and partners.
Develop understanding of Continuous Improvement and LEAN manufacturing principles.
