Job summary

Armstrong group in Macon, GA is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience with our products, processes and test requirements in a large-scale manufacturing setting. You will complete a defined engineering project, troubleshoot equipment, and support capital projects while learning the project management lifecycle and coordinating schedules with PM tools.

This internship offers exposure to asset management, maintenance practices and safe work habits in a dynamic plant

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Must be within 24 months of graduation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Complete an assigned engineering project during the term of the internship.
Troubleshoot electrical manufacturing equipment.
Contribute to several ongoing capital engineering projects diverse areas of the plant.
Gaining experience with the Project Management Life Cycle, including preparation of project specifications and requirements.
Project schedule coordination and utilization of Project Management tools.
Installation oversight, project closing activities, and sustainability initiatives.
