Dennis Group is seeking a student-involved Building Electrical Intern to assist in designing electrical systems for food and beverage facilities. You will work on power distribution, lighting and low-voltage systems, and support vendor selection and documentation.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, calculations, and collaboration across trades, with up to 25% travel to customer sites and offices. Strong academic performance and CAD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with three phase power and NEC.
• GPA 3.0 or above.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for building power distribution in industrial facilities.
• Document calculations such as short circuit and load calculations.
• Maintain project document organization and meet commitments.
• Assist with fieldwork and travel to project sites as needed.
