Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support MacDill AFB, FL, focusing on electrical distribution, facilities systems, and infrastructure planning.

You will assess assets, develop reliability improvements, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure mission readiness. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in electrical systems, facilities engineering, infrastructure engineering, utility systems, construction engineering, maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of CMMS, GIS platforms, asset management databases, or similar engineering tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety practices, maintenance principles, and engineering documentation.
• Experience supporting building, facility, infrastructure, or utility projects.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise related to electrical distribution and facility electrical systems.
• Conduct assessments of electrical assets to identify performance issues and maintenance needs.
• Develop recommendations for repair, replacement, modernization, and infrastructure improvement.
• Coordinate system designs and technical recommendations with project stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analyses of electrical equipment failures to improve reliability.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance through condition assessments and data analysis.
• Prepare technical reports, assessments, and presentations.
• Assist with lifecycle and cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure decisions.
• Support resiliency initiatives and emergency power improvements.
