Job summary

The Chemours Company in Newark, DE seeks an Electrical Engineer to support three sites with design, safety, and capital projects. You will serve as the electrical SME, lead hazard analyses, and drive maintenance and reliability improvements.

The role requires a BS in EE, 3+ years in industrial ops, and hands-on experience with low/medium voltage distribution, arc flash modeling, and code compliance. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering.
Experience with low/medium voltage distribution and arc flash modeling.
Strong leadership and safety-focused approach.
Proficient in local/state/national electrical codes.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Serve as site electrical resource and SME on design/distribution and electrical safety.
Lead Electrical Process Hazards Analyses, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews, and Incident Investigations.
Plan and coordinate sitewide electrical maintenance shutdowns.
Inspect and approve third-party electrical designs for site projects.
Support capital electrical projects and site expansions; drive capacity improvements.
