Job summary

Chemours is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the Newark Area Technology Team. In this role, you will support collaborative R&D projects and oversee facility management operations across multiple sites in Newark. Responsibilities include acting as a subject-matter expert on electrical design and safety, leading safety reviews, and managing compliance with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, over 3 years of industrial experience, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Benefits include competitive compensation, a 401(k) match, and various development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting industrial operations as an Electrical Engineer.
• Demonstrated proficiency in local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Capable of developing maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site electrical resource and subject-matter expert.
• Manage compliance obligations for NRTL, OSHA, and NEC.
• Lead area initiatives to improve maintenance and reliability of electrical systems.
