Job summary

Bechtel Fab 62 project for Intel at the Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop and evaluate electrical components and processes. You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines to deliver precision, schedule, and safety in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience or 5–6 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with material requisitions (Transformers, Switchgear, Substations, UPS, bulk materials).
• Knowledge of 34.5kV/13.8kV and 480/208/120V systems.
• Familiar with Power System One Lines, Schematics, and Connection Diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical raceway design and layout.
• PE license in Electrical Engineering (Power) preferred.
• Engineer in Training certificate.
• Experience as an engineer on a medium-to-large industrial project.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard EE methods with independent judgment.
• Designs, modifies, and evaluates electrical components and processes.
• Coordinates with other engineering disciplines.
• Provides technical assistance and interacts with customers and regulators.
• Supports management in meeting electrical requirements during execution.
• Prepares conceptual studies, designs, or proposals.
