Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking electrical engineers with a BS in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of experience for on-site, in-office roles in Texas. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, shop and field testing of power equipment, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams on industrial facilities.

You will work on power distribution, grounding, lighting, motor controls, and VFD systems, with travel/relocation as needed. EIT is required; PE preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering for oil, gas or chemical facilities.
• EIT licensure required; P.E. by exam preferred but not required.
• Experience with LV/MV transformers, switchgear, motor controls, and VFDs.
• Experience with SKM or equivalent power-system modeling.
• Familiarity with NEC and API standards for hazardous locations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in shop and field testing of switchgear and MCC equipment.
• Lead electrical engineering for large industrial projects in midstream gas processing, refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas.
• Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, motor control, and VFDs.
• Review and approve Electrical Design deliverables for design and construction.
• Develop scopes of work, milestones, staffing, and engineering hour estimates.
• Coordinate with disciplines and project managers; communicate with clients.
