Job summary

Skana Aluminum Company seeks a hands-on Electrical Engineer to design and improve control systems, troubleshoot on the production floor, and lead electrical projects from concept through completion. You’ll partner with maintenance and operations to enhance reliability, while advancing safety and efficiency across manufacturing.

The role blends design, troubleshooting, and project management, with opportunities to drive continuous improvement and impact production performance daily.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience reading, creating, interpreting, and troubleshooting electrical schematics.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls (motors, VFDs, drives, power distribution).
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and update control circuits, power distribution, and electrical equipment improvements.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on the production floor with operators and maintenance.
• Lead electrical projects from concept through completion (scope, budgeting, scheduling).
• Develop data tracking, reporting, and trending tools to measure performance.
