Job summary

Skana Aluminum Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who blends hands-on problem solving with data-driven improvement on the factory floor. You’ll partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership to identify opportunities, design improvements, and lead projects from concept through completion.

You will design with SolidWorks, create plant layouts with AutoCAD, and support equipment reliability and throughput improvements while maintaining ISO quality practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with metal processing or continuous manufacturing a plus.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis, pivot tables, and charts.

Responsibilities

• Design parts, assemblies, and equipment improvements using SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
• Develop plant floor layouts and plan equipment installations or moves using AutoCAD.
• Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, including scope and budget.
